When Newport Harbor High School set out to revitalize its tennis facilities, the goal was clear: create an environment that felt professional, polished, and proudly representative of the school’s identity. The Collins Company team partnered directly with the boys’ and girls’ tennis coach to design and install new windscreen across all court perimeters. From site measurements to final installation, every detail was handled in-house to ensure precision, consistency, and timely delivery.
The school’s existing windscreen was badly worn, with several sections missing entirely. In addition to improving appearance, the coaching staff wanted to create a more private, enclosed experience for players — blocking both the surrounding campus and a busy nearby street. The project also had to be completed around active tennis schedules and a firm match deadline.
Once measurements and branded renderings were approved, Collins Company developed a detailed installation plan that aligned with the school’s calendar. The team coordinated directly with the coaching staff to avoid match days and practice hours, ensuring minimal disruption. Using durable navy vinyl with 100% visual blockage, the finished product delivered full privacy and a premium, cohesive look that showcased the school’s name and logo throughout the courts.
The finished courts completely transformed the atmosphere of Newport Harbor’s tennis complex. The new windscreen provided full enclosure, clean lines, and a striking visual presence that immediately elevated the facility. Coaches and players alike described the transformation as night and day — a major boost to both pride and performance. What was once a worn, exposed set of courts is now a professional-quality environment that reflects the school’s athletic spirit.

“The transformation was incredible. Collins Company made the entire process easy and professional, and the finished courts look phenomenal. Our players love it — it truly feels like a brand-new facility.” — Cameron Ball, Head Tennis Coach, Newport Harbor High School
